Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- ability to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures
- ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
- ability to read and write handwritten notes
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- restaurant or bar experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in english
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- capable of using Micros point of sale system
- knowledge of sanitation and alcohol service procedures
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of issues and suggest corrective actions
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- maintain personal bank and accurately handle financial transactions
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and alert managers when necessary
- follow bar recipes to ensure product consistency
- keep work station clean and set up/take down tables
- greet guests promptly and take accurate orders
- maintain knowledge of menu items
- enter orders into Micros system
- complete station side work and manage sales on Micros keys
- operate credit card transactions and account for monies
- ensure proper food garnishing and delivery
- work efficiently with full hands in/out philosophy
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and requisitions
- perform opening/closing duties
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- support other team members
- bus and reset tables
- check back with guests to ensure satisfaction
- maintain positive relationships with team members
- communicate effectively with guests and team
- smile frequently
- demonstrate enthusiasm about Dave & Buster’s experience
- follow dress code and professionalism standards
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- must be at least 18 years old
