Job Requirements

  • No education required
  • be of legal age to serve alcohol per state guidelines
  • ability to work full-time or part-time including night shifts, day shifts, weekends
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for the duration of the shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • ability to handle point-of-sale systems
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender, bar back, server, or in any other front-of-house restaurant role is highly desirable
  • strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and responsible service practices
  • positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet every guest warmly at the bar and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere
  • craft memorable moments with personalized, attentive service that goes beyond expectations
  • maintain exceptional service standards for all guests at the bar and in the dining area
  • take and prepare drink and food orders quickly and accurately to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times
  • demonstrate strong knowledge of the ACFP menu to confidently answer questions and make suggestive sales
  • create high-quality, craft cocktails with consistency and care
  • maintain a full understanding of alcoholic beverage laws and ensure responsible alcohol service
  • be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state guidelines
  • build genuine connections with guests, creating memorable dining experiences
  • operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
  • stand for the duration of your shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds as needed
  • keep a positive attitude and friendly demeanor throughout each shift
  • maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, upholding food safety and quality standards
