As part of the Pyek Group, Cowabunga Vegas combines thrilling water attractions with vibrant food and beverage offerings, creating a dynamic environment where every visit is packed with fun and memorable moments. Emphasizing a guest-first approach, Cowabunga Vegas fosters a culture centered on intentionality, friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun, ensuring all visitors enjoy a well-rounded and enjoyable experience. The company is committed to excellent service standards and adheres strictly to health and safety regulations, making it a leading venue for family-friendly entertainment and social gatherings alike.
The Bartender role at Cowabunga Vegas is an integral part of the Food and Beverage Department’s Bars and Cabanas team. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and beverage service to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bartenders at Cowabunga Vegas are cross-trained to support multiple roles including bartender, cabana server, runner, and barback. Their primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service by preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic beverages to guests of legal drinking age. This requires thorough knowledge of the park’s specialty drink menus, draft and bottled beer selections, and an ability to confidently engage customers by describing available options.
Beyond drink preparation, bartenders maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area, ensuring all beverage service areas are fully stocked, sanitized, and reset as needed. They use point-of-sale systems efficiently to enter orders and process payments accurately. Compliance with Cowabunga Vegas’s TAM-approved alcoholic beverage service plan along with all local health and alcohol regulations is mandatory, underlining the company’s commitment to safety and responsible service.
Bartenders also act as ambassadors of the park, assisting guests with general queries and offering guidance about the park’s layout and amenities. The successful candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and consistently embodies Cowabunga Vegas’s signature hospitality ethos to create a Good-Clean-Fun experience for every visitor. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods and the flexibility to work in various outdoor weather conditions, reflecting the dynamic nature of the park setting. Through teamwork, operational awareness, and adherence to safety protocols, Cowabunga Vegas bartenders contribute significantly to the overall guest experience and operational excellence of the park.
