The Bartender role at Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is key to maintaining the exceptional guest experience the restaurant promises. In addition to drink preparation, the Bartender will operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to handle transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records, including cash-out and tip reports. Monitoring guests for signs of intoxication or suspicious behavior is critical to providing a safe environment, and the Bartender must be attentive and follow established protocols by notifying supervisors or security when necessary. Maintaining cleanliness and order at the bar area is essential as well, which includes manicuring the bar, removing dirty dishware, taking out trash, and performing light housekeeping tasks. The role encompasses setup, side work, and closing procedures, which involve preparing the bar for service, stocking supplies, and ensuring the bar and lounge areas are in optimal condition for every shift.
