The Bartender role at Logans Roadhouse plays a critical part in maintaining the bar's smooth operation and delivering top-notch service. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating the bar, including stocking and cleaning daily and managing drink orders efficiently. This role requires physical stamina to perform various tasks such as cleaning glassware, stocking bar ingredients, mopping floors, and other side duties that support front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The bartender is also accountable for inventory reconciliation and maintaining a neat, clean, and organized bar area at all times. Attention to detail and adherence to appearance standards are imperative to reflect the brand’s image and values.
In addition, the position calls for a bartender who is not only focused on operational excellence but also has a keen aptitude for sales and guest cultivation. Job Duties
- Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
- Mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft beer, bottled beer, wine and liquor according to procedure/recipe and restaurant specifications
- Perform correct money transactions and make correct change utilizing Point-of-Sale system
- Communicate with guests and team members to promote specials and suggestions
- Reconcile daily bar inventories with bar cash-received totals
- Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications
- Assist with side duties such as restocking, cleaning, and supporting other front-of-house and back-of-house team members
