Job Description

Eurest, a leading brand under Compass Group, is recognized worldwide for its exceptional standards of service and excellence within the foodservice industry. With a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation, Eurest proudly serves many of the world's most respected and successful corporations, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. The company embraces an ownership mindset, leveraging global resources while promoting a strong local presence that enriches the communities they serve. This dedication is embodied in the Eurest Promise: "connect with people, inspire through food, create solutions, and live our promise." Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Eurest is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Bartenders at their Delta HNL location at 300 Rodgers Blvd.

The Bartender role at Eurest is a pivotal position that involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a bar area with utmost friendliness, courtesy, and efficiency. This position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Applicants are encouraged to have open availability, especially on weekends and holidays, to meet the dynamic scheduling needs of the hospitality industry. The role demands previous bartending and customer service experience to ensure quality service and compliance with regulatory standards.

As a Bartender at Eurest, you will be responsible for adhering strictly to state, federal, and corporate liquor laws, ensuring that alcoholic beverages are served only to guests who meet the legal age requirements and are not intoxicated. Setting up the bar area is crucial, including requisitioning and stocking beverage supplies such as beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and garnishes, while maintaining the freshness and quality of perishables like fruits and juices. Providing excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, efficiently taking or processing drink orders, and preparing drinks using standardized recipes with prudent portion control are key duties. You will also handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining security by locking up and storing all products and cash deposits.

Maintaining hygiene and safety standards is a top priority in this role. Bartenders are expected to perform general cleaning tasks, wash and sterilize glassware, and keep their work area organized and attractive by arranging bottles and glasses to enhance the bar's ambiance. The job requires vigilance in observing guest behavior to detect and address any signs of inebriation sensitively and lawfully.

At Eurest, associates benefit from a comprehensive package of perks and benefits. Both full-time and part-time employees have access to a retirement plan, associate shopping program, health and wellness programs, discount marketplace, identity theft protection, pet insurance, and a variety of voluntary benefits such as critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, legal services, and choice auto and home insurance programs. Full-time associates also enjoy medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, commuter benefits, employee assistance programs, and flexible spending accounts, among other advantages.

Eurest fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to embark on a rewarding career journey. The company is an equal opportunity employer and commits to fair treatment for all employees and applicants regardless of race, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Applying is convenient, with online applications accepted exclusively, and prospective candidates can apply via text messaging by referencing the requisition ID 1502423.
