Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bartending experience preferred
- Ability to mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate POS system accurately
- Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning and stocking duties
- Ability to maintain neat and organized bar area
Job Duties
- Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
- Mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft beer, bottled beer, wine and liquor according to procedure and recipe
- Perform correct money transactions and make correct change utilizing Point-of-Sale system
- Communicate with guests and team members to promote specials and suggestions
- Reconcile daily bar inventories with bar cash-received totals
- Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications
- Assist other front-of-house and back-of-house team members as assigned
