This job opening is for a Bartender position at Red Lobster, which involves more than just mixing drinks. The role is designed to offer a dynamic and engaging work environment with flexible scheduling and competitive weekly pay. As a bartender at Red Lobster, you will be the face of hospitality for guests as they arrive and throughout their experience at the bar. Responsibilities include preparing the bar stations by setting up pour stations and glassware before opening, restocking drinks and garnishes as needed, and suggesting drink, appetizer, and dessert sales to enhance customer enjoyment and restaurant revenue. You will craft beverages according to standard recipes, utilize correct glassware and garnishes, and ensure that orders are taken with precision through the POS system. Attention to detail in customer service is crucial, including offering drink refills, clearing plates promptly, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Food safety and cleanliness standards must be strictly followed throughout your shift.

Physical demands for success in this role include the ability to safely bend, reach, stoop, and carry up to 30 pounds, as well as the stamina to stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Teamwork skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment are also essential. Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and greet them with a smile when seated
  • Prepare the bar including pour stations and glassware before opening, and restock drinks, mixers, and garnishes as needed
  • Suggest selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Prepare all beverages according to standard recipes using proper glassware and garnishes
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by offering drink refills and removing unused items
  • Deliver and settle the bill promptly, thank customers and invite them to return
  • Follow all food safety regulations
