Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
- Ability to check identification and ensure legal compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage preparation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for order processing
- Ability to handle cash and various payment methods
- Familiarity with food and beverage menus
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism
- Good interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Have a thorough working knowledge of bartending including bar terminology and common essential drink recipes
- Understand the basic rules of bartending including how to correctly build a drink, suggest wine and pour a draft beer
- Maintain an outgoing and positive personality at all times
- Have complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage menu
- Serve the entire bar and bar tables while meeting or exceeding Best in Class Standards
- Consistently upsell alcohol and food items
- Use a computer to ring orders
- Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Accept different payment types and make change
- Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar area
- Correctly check identification to ensure guests are of legal drinking age
- Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and inform management if necessary
- Treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed appearance
- Communicate with managers about unhappy guests
- Take and fill to-go orders and check for accuracy if applicable
