This job opening is for the esteemed position of Bartender within one of Peregrine TH Management's resorts. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $20.00, depending on experience (DOE). The Bartender will play a crucial part in creating memorable guest experiences by providing top-notch beverage service that aligns with the company's high standards and the resort's ambiance. This position demands a combination of hospitality skills, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and service protocols. Bartenders will be responsible for setting up the bar area, crafting cocktails including seasonal specialties, handling orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system, and performing cashiering duties efficiently. The position also requires active participation in resort training sessions and meetings to continuously enhance service delivery.

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction by promptly serving beverages and food in a courteous manner. They must be familiar with resort policies, including safety rules and state liquor laws, to responsibly manage alcohol service, particularly when dealing with intoxicated guests. Physical demands are part of the role, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing side-work duties as per checklist guidelines. The Bartender will also have opportunities to upsell promotional items, contributing to the overall revenue and success of the resort. This role primarily operates during morning shifts but may extend to nights, weekends, and holidays due to operational needs.

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the companys service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • Participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and nametag
  • Set up the bar according to resort standards and serve guests promptly and efficiently
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets
  • Create various seasonal cocktails and recommend them to guests
  • Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
  • Pre-bus all tables removing soiled dishes after each course
  • Be familiar with the operation of the POS system
  • Perform cashiering functions including closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties according to established checklist
  • Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linen in designated areas
  • Consistently upsell food, beverage and promotional items to guests
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders and collect payment
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules
  • Follow all state liquor laws
  • Follow prescribed procedures when serving alcohol to intoxicated guests
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
