NEXDINE Hospitality is currently seeking a full-time Bartender to join their team in Louisville, KY. This front-of-house role is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere within the dining area. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 and operates from 11 am to 8:30 pm. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for managing the point of sale system efficiently and assisting customers promptly with their orders or inquiries. Your duties will include setting up and restocking products, displays, coolers, and workstations to maintain a well-organized environment.
Additionally, you will be expected to move supplies or equipment between storage and work areas using hand trucks or carts when necessary. Maintaining cleanliness and an inviting department appearance is essential, as is attentive, approachable customer interaction. Greeting and thanking customers upon entry and exit helps enhance the overall dining experience. The Bartender will also collaborate closely with and follow directions from the Chef Manager to ensure smooth service delivery and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
This role requires someone with exceptional customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude, as it is integral to creating an enjoyable dining environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous food/customer service experience preferably within a corporate dining setting
- must be dependable and have excellent customer service skills
- must be able to pull and lift up to 40 pounds
- must be able to work independently as well as a team player

Job Duties
- Responsible for running the point of sale system and assist customers as needed
- set up and restock product, displays, coolers and workstations as needed
- transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks or carts
- make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks clean and presentable at all times
- provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers entering and exiting the cafe
- works with and takes direction from the Chef Manager
