We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in creating a memorable guest experience by serving beverages and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization at the bar. The Bartender at HHM Hotels is responsible not only for crafting and serving drinks but also for ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent service and adhering to legal and safety requirements. Our Bartenders have clear growth paths within the company, starting from Beverage Manager to Restaurant Supervisor, followed by Restaurant Manager, and ultimately a Food & Beverage Manager position, providing excellent long-term career opportunities.
This role also involves checking customer identification to comply with alcohol purchase laws, slicing and preparing garnishes, managing beverage inventory, and handling guest payments. The ideal candidate will possess prior bartending or mixology experience and will be encouraged to pursue certifications such as TIPS and Food Sanitation to enhance their professional growth. Working in a fast-paced environment requires a proactive team member capable of handling multiple responsibilities while maintaining the utmost professionalism and following sustainability and safety protocols rigorously.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous bartending or mixologist experience required or equivalent training
- TIPS certified a plus
- Food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment

Job Duties
- Maintain clean and organize bar areas
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Prepare and serve drink and or food orders
- Take orders, and serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas
- Issue guest check and complete payment process
- Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests
