Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must meet all gaming, alcohol, and tribal employment requirements
  • Able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • Able to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change
  • Communicate effectively with customers and employees
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
  • Skills and abilities typically acquired through five years bartending or similar experience or progressive promotion and training within the Food and Beverage department
  • Ability to secure and maintain state or tribal gaming license

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, efficient bar service by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards
  • Maintain clean, organized bar areas
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
  • Verify guest eligibility and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and guests using prescribed recipes
  • Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars
  • Communicate any problems or situations detrimental to property to immediate supervisor
