Job Description
American Golf is a renowned leader in golf hospitality, dedicated to enhancing the golf experience and fostering community connections. With a rich heritage deeply rooted in golf operations and club culture, the company is committed to delivering exceptional service and creating inviting atmospheres where guests and members feel valued and welcome. Operating at multiple golf courses, American Golf emphasizes course care, member satisfaction, and the spirit of golf as a unifying sport that builds lasting relationships and traditions.
Located at Oso Creek Golf Course in Mission Viejo, California, American Golf is seeking a skilled Bartender to join their hospitality team. This role is essential in crafting memorable experiences for guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages at the bar or through wait staff. The Bartender will be responsible for mixing traditional and innovative cocktails, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards, and supporting food and beverage menu offerings. The position requires an individual passionate about customer service, attentive to their environment, and committed to ensuring safe and responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. The Bartender will also assist with payment processing, bar upkeep, and maintaining excellent guest relations throughout their shift.
This is a part-time or full-time position with a competitive pay rate starting at $16.90 per hour. The schedule varies based on business needs and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring flexibility and stamina given the fast-paced environment and physical demands such as extended standing, walking, and occasional lifting. The role demands excellent multitasking abilities, a strong knowledge of mixed drinks, food and beverage pairings, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure while delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
American Golf values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination. Joining the team means becoming part of a company that prioritizes community, inclusivity, and professional growth in a supportive golf club setting. Whether you're an experienced bartender or looking to leverage your mixology skills within the unique culture of golf hospitality, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment where guests can relax, socialize, and enjoy exceptional service.
