This full-time role requires an individual who thrives on creating genuine connections with guests, delivering engaging service from the moment of greeting until departure. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting perfect beverages promptly while understanding and responding to guest needs. The role demands quick thinking, an engaging attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with other restaurant and bar staff. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid bartending certification or license
  • 2-4 years of bartending experience
  • Knowledge of mixology and beverage service
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and POS systems accurately
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be 21 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • Current bartenders’ certification or appropriate license
  • Knowledge of the latest mixology trends
  • 2-4 years of bartender experience
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Descriptive selling ability
  • Experience working under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
  • Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance conversation
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests with concerns and guide them to a resolution
  • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
  • Input orders into the register and create checks for each guest
  • Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment
  • secure cash drops and bank
