Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain with a rich heritage rooted in family values and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences centered around seafood and coastal cuisine. Founded over fifty years ago as a family-owned restaurant, Red Lobster has expanded to more than 500 locations, each embodying the founding vision of providing guests with a special connection to the seafood and the coast. The establishment prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a place where cherished meals and memorable moments are created. Red Lobster actively engages with the communities it serves, turning new guests into familiar faces, fostering a welcoming and familial atmosphere.
The company offers competitive weekly pay along with flexible work schedules designed to accommodate employees' diverse needs. Benefits include affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance plans starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, and voluntary benefits. Employees have access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Additionally, Red Lobster invests in the professional growth of its employees by providing training programs and career advancement opportunities.
As a Bartender at Red Lobster, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience. The position involves greeting guests warmly, preparing and maintaining the bar area, and skillfully crafting beverages according to company standards and recipes. You will be responsible for suggesting drinks, appetizers, and desserts to guests to enhance sales while ensuring all orders are taken accurately and entered properly into the POS system. Equally important is maintaining cleanliness and compliance with all food safety regulations to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Bartenders also manage payment transactions, thank guests, and invite them to return, contributing to building lasting customer relationships. This position requires standing for extended periods, physical agility to lift up to 30 pounds, and the ability to multitask effectively while working as part of a team.
Red Lobster is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated and equal employment opportunities are given to all employees and applicants regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Joining the Red Lobster family offers a chance to be part of an exciting future with ongoing plans for growth and innovation within the company. There has never been a better time to begin or advance your career with Red Lobster and help bring their passion for seafood and exemplary service to guests nationwide.
