Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of bartending experience in a full-service bar or restaurant
  • Knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and food
  • Passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences
  • Ability to work weekends including Friday through Sunday
  • Must comply with MBCR's Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and state/local liquor laws
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including full-time or part-time shifts
  • TB clearance as required by the State of Hawaii for restaurant and food handling jobs

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a bartender in a full-service bar or restaurant
  • Knowledgeable in craft beer, cocktails, and food
  • Passionate about guest service and strive to create memorable experiences for all guests
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work weekends (Friday - Sunday)

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and exceptional service to guests and assist with menu selections and beverage recommendations
  • Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Ensure compliance with MBCR's Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and local liquor laws
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
  • Support the service team with dining operations and guest experience
  • Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines
