This position is focused on delivering an unparalleled guest experience by providing fast, friendly, and attentive service. The role demands exceptional communication skills, a warm and approachable demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment. Employees will be responsible for greeting guests, accurately taking and delivering food and drink orders, managing financial transactions using the Micros system, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout their workspace. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with guests and team members alike to create a fun and inviting atmosphere. Responsibilities also include adhering strictly to sanitation procedures, following alcohol service protocols to ensure responsible consumption, and supporting team efforts in set-up, breakdown, and ongoing maintenance activities. This role is vital to the overall guest satisfaction and operational success of the venue, balancing efficiency with quality service. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training and support are provided. Compensation ranges from $16 to $16.50 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to fair wages for an engaging and rewarding position within the hospitality sector.

Job Requirements

  • able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
  • able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

  • restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
  • skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
  • able to read and communicate in English
  • friendly with ability to smile frequently
  • able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
  • dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
  • able to operate Micros POS system
  • able to follow alcohol awareness procedures

Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
  • keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
  • adhere to company's sanitation procedures
  • maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
  • assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
  • follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
  • keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
  • greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
  • accurately take guests' food and drink orders
  • maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
  • enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
  • be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at the beginning and end of their shift
  • demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift
  • ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas and other sections as needed
  • work quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy
  • participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
  • complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required
  • complete opening/closing duties in a timely manner
  • assist in party set up and breakdown
  • assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
  • buss and reset tables as needed
  • ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, prebussing, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
  • maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
  • listen to hear guests' orders and needs, and communicate with guests verbally and with other team members verbally via Micros system
  • be friendly and able to smile frequently
