Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments including freezers and around cooking equipment
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand and move about the facility for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand for 100% of the shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic knowledge of restaurant and bar service preferred
- Proficiency in English reading and communication
- Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy environments
- Ability to operate Micros point-of-sale system or willingness to learn
- Must be legally allowed to work and at least 18 years old
- Ability to dress neatly and follow dress code
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or significant matters
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Maintain personal bank and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Follow alcohol awareness and responsible service procedures
- Assess guest demeanor and alert management when necessary
- Follow bar recipes to ensure consistency and cost control
- Keep station clean and appropriately set up or take down tables
- Greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Accurately take food and drink orders
- Maintain thorough menu knowledge and answer guest questions
- Enter orders into Micros quickly and correctly
- Complete sales on personal Micros keys and station side work
- Operate Micros, manage credit card transactions and account for monies
- Ensure proper food garnish and deliver trays to designated areas
- Work efficiently with "full hands in, full hands out" philosophy
- Participate in incentives and contests to drive sales
- Complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Assist in party setup and breakdown
- Support other team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables
- Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
- Maintain favorable working relationships to promote cooperation and morale
- Listen to guests and communicate orders verbally and via Micros
- Smile frequently and remain friendly
