The Bartender role at Invited is critical in maintaining the company’s commitment to exceptional member and guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages with precision and care, maintaining accurate beverage control, and ensuring a clean and organized bar environment. This position requires you to greet members warmly, know their preferences, execute orders promptly, and handle any concerns professionally while upholding Invited’s 3-steps of service approach. The Bartender will work closely with Food & Beverage management teams, including Directors of Food & Beverage, Beverage, Restaurants, and Banquets, to ensure seamless operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and knowledge of beverages, including cocktails and wines. It also involves physical stamina to stand and move throughout a shift, along with adherence to all safety and cleanliness standards. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • certification in alcohol and food safety awareness
  • previous experience in food and beverage service
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong ethical work standards
  • ability to work in indoor and occasional outdoor environments
  • basic bar and wine knowledge
  • ability to open a bottle of wine with a wine tool
  • physical ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • capability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • able to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold
  • able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • sufficient visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • certification in alcohol and food safety awareness
  • previous experience in food and beverage service
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical work standards
  • basic bar and wine knowledge including cocktails and wine varietals
  • ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool

Job Duties

  • deliver high standards of service as outlined in the food and beverage service training program
  • assist with the service of food and beverages to members and guests at the bar
  • know members’ names, greet them promptly, provide a warm and personalized experience
  • accurately execute member and guest orders and requests in a timely manner
  • address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally, notifying management of issues and practicing effective service recovery
  • prepare the bar area for service by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring all items are fully stocked and in place at the start of each shift
  • consistently check the bar area for cleanliness and maintain an orderly and organized work area, including regular sanitizing
  • ensure daily assignments and side work are complete to meet club standards, including restocking and refilling supplies
  • maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily features and specials
  • ensure all liquor items are properly stocked, accurately poured, and responsibly managed to maintain beverage control
  • support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment
  • complete additional duties as assigned by management
  • participate actively in team efforts and stay informed through daily briefings
  • wear clean and neat uniform that meets club standards
