The successful candidate will prepare quality espresso drinks and specialty lattes, alongside greeting and checking in guests, verifying reservations and waivers, and explaining the venue's play session policies. Working in a fast-paced yet joyful environment, the role requires a person who moves swiftly and genuinely delights in creating a memorable experience for children and adults alike. They must efficiently juggle barista responsibilities and visitor engagement seamlessly, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth customer transitions.

Candidates can expect to engage in various tasks including handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, completing sanitation rotations, assisting with light food prep, and supporting play area supervision and party setup. They will also contribute to enforcing play area rules kindly and consistently, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

This job is designed for one who enjoys the energies of families and children, has a warm and friendly demeanor, and possesses the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic cafe and play setting. The position offers flexible part-time hours, around 20 hours per week, with a mandatory requirement for weekend availability, and provides several benefits such as one free drink per shift, half-price food, event bonuses, performance bonuses, referral bonuses, and cross-training opportunities. The supportive team environment, coupled with meaningful interaction, makes this role ideal for those seeking a rewarding work experience blending service, hospitality, and community engagement.
