The company promotes a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, encouraging a diverse workforce and an environment where every individual can thrive and contribute to the organization's success.
The role of the Food & Beverage Attendant at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is integral to the guest experience. This position requires an individual dedicated to providing exceptional service in a clean and vibrant setting, supporting the day-to-day operations of MVW’s food and beverage outlets. With an hourly rate of $15.85, this part-time or full-time role demands availability for 1st or 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays, to maintain smooth and continuous service. Responsibilities include preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and prepared foods carefully and according to guest preferences. The attendant actively maintains clean work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures and ensures all transactions are handled accurately and securely, including cash and credit payments.
Beyond the essential operational tasks, the Food & Beverage Attendant acts as a frontline representative of the company, welcoming and engaging with guests to enhance their vacation experience. This role involves checking in with guests to guarantee satisfaction, anticipating guest needs, and fostering positive interactions among colleagues and guests alike. Marriott Vacations Worldwide places great emphasis on company standards and guest satisfaction, making the attendant’s contributions pivotal for meeting department goals and providing a safe, policy-compliant workplace.
In addition to competitive pay, the position offers a comprehensive range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K opportunities, travel discounts, credit union membership, tuition reimbursement, and professional counseling with family support. On-site perks are also abundant: free parking, complimentary soft drinks, a 40% discount at all food and beverage outlets, work shoe credits, provided outdoor gear, monthly team-building events, monetary incentives for excellence, holiday celebrations, and community service participation. Paid on-the-job training ensures new employees are confident and competent in their responsibilities from the start.
The company values the physical capability of its employees, requiring candidates to perform activities such as bending, twisting, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance. Background and drug screenings are conducted as per company policy to maintain a safe and trustworthy work environment. This role is essential not only for delivering exceptional guest service but also for embodying MVW’s values and contributing to its reputation as a leading vacation ownership company. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of a dynamic team where growth and development are encouraged, the Food & Beverage Attendant position at Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a fulfilling and exciting career path.
