The Barista / Cashier role at Masimo offers a unique opportunity to be part of the team that supports the daily operations of the on-site café, providing a welcoming and pleasant experience for employees and guests alike. This position primarily involves crafting high-quality beverages and serving food items while ensuring customers feel appreciated through excellent service and prompt attention. Beyond beverage preparation, the role demands maintaining café cleanliness, organizing products thoroughly by following FIFO procedures, and efficiently managing transactions at the cash register. Successful candidates will be responsible not only for delivering consistent, high-quality products but also for fostering a positive, friendly atmosphere conducive to customer satisfaction. As a front-line ambassador, the Barista / Cashier must exhibit integrity, maintain composure during peak times, and communicate clearly and enthusiastically. Training new team members and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation standards are also key parts of the role, highlighting Masimo’s commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.

This position requires standing for long periods, with frequent reaching, bending, and lifting, making physical stamina important. The environment demands strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and stress management capabilities. Candidates must possess a Food Handler's card or ServSafe certification as a minimum qualification, ensuring all food safety regulations are met at all times. Preferably, applicants will have a minimum of six months’ experience in a similar barista role to guarantee familiarity with industry standards and expectations.
