Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate POS systems accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality, retail, or guest service experience preferred
  • Comfortable operating espresso equipment with training provided
  • Confident handling money and using POS systems
  • Friendly, patient, and attentive communication skills
  • Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
  • Flexible with scheduling including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working independently and as a strong part of a team

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items following recipes and brand standards
  • Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and create a welcoming café environment
  • Operate the POS system to process payments, room charges, and mobile or to-go orders with accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment, counters, condiment stations, and seating areas
  • Restock inventory such as syrups, coffee beans, milk, pastries, and paper goods throughout the shift
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients
  • Communicate effectively with fellow baristas, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned
  • Support café flow by preparing grab-and-go items, assisting with light food prep, or helping guests with questions or recommendations
  • Uphold all company and brand standards related to guest service, safety, and financial procedures
