Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or coffee preparation preferred
- Health department license or certification as required by state or local requirement
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable availability for early mornings nights and weekends
- Commitment to sustainability and teamwork

- Availability to work early mornings nights weekends and demonstrate extreme reliability
Job Duties
- Prepare espresso beverages for customers meeting Stumptown's quality standards
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by proactively engaging with customers to understand and meet their needs
- Develop a thorough understanding of coffees teas foods merchandise and promotions to drive sales and service
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for customers and coworkers
- Demonstrate willingness and openness to change and share ideas for store improvement
- Taste coffee tea and specialty beverages regularly to maintain familiarity with products and quality standards
- Accurately process transactions in the POS system and reconcile till
- Practice self-reflection and ask for feedback to improve performance
- Follow sustainability practices to minimize waste conserve energy and limit water usage
- Perform other duties as assigned
