Aramark values diversity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. This commitment shapes its hiring practices and workplace culture.

Aramark offers a dynamic work environment where employees can develop their talents, fuel their passions, and grow professionally. The company encourages individuals who are seeking new challenges, a sense of belonging, or simply a great place to work to explore career opportunities with them. Employees at Aramark have access to a variety of resources and support networks designed to help them reach their full potential. Working at Aramark means joining a team that values integrity, innovation, and collaboration in delivering exceptional experiences for customers and clients.

The role of the full-time Barista at Aramark is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, social settings and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing specialty coffee drinks and other beverages according to brand standards, as well as assisting in food preparation. The role involves interacting directly with customers by receiving orders and handling cash or credit card payments with accuracy and professionalism.

The position goes beyond the basics of beverage preparation. It requires maintaining a clean and sanitary work area while adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Baristas will also ensure the coffee bar and stations are properly set up and broken down at the beginning and end of shifts. Inventory management is part of the job, including stocking beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments. The role demands attention to detail, from balancing cash drawers and following cash handling policies to completing cashier slips and making deposits.

Aramark's culture encourages flexibility and adaptation, meaning duties may evolve, and new responsibilities could be assigned as needed to meet business objectives. The Barista position requires individuals who are self-motivated, able to work independently with limited supervision, and willing to follow prescribed dress codes and safety protocols such as wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Educationally, candidates must be able to read and communicate in English effectively and follow detailed recipes for drink preparation. A Food Handling Certification may be required depending on the location. Physical demands of the role may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, all common in the hospitality and food service industry.

Overall, becoming a Barista with Aramark offers more than just a job—it provides an opportunity to be part of a globally respected company that values each employee’s contribution. It is a stepping stone for anyone looking to develop career skills in the food and beverage industry while delivering memorable customer experiences and being part of a supportive team environment.
