Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and peak academic periods
  • Capability to handle frequent lifting and physical movement required in the role
  • Compliance with food handling and safety certifications if necessary
  • Ability to work temporarily for a period of 90 days or less
  • Willingness to follow COVID-19 safety protocols including possible vaccination verification and face mask use
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage customers
  • Basic proficiency in math and data entry
  • Availability to work various shifts including opening, midday, or closing

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Previous food handling experience preferred
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
  • An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
  • Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods

Job Duties

  • Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
  • Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
  • Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
  • Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
  • Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
  • Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal
