Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and peak academic periods
- Capability to handle frequent lifting and physical movement required in the role
- Compliance with food handling and safety certifications if necessary
- Ability to work temporarily for a period of 90 days or less
- Willingness to follow COVID-19 safety protocols including possible vaccination verification and face mask use
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage customers
- Basic proficiency in math and data entry
- Availability to work various shifts including opening, midday, or closing
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Previous food handling experience preferred
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
Job Duties
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
- Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
- Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
- Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
- Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal
