This opportunity is for a full-time Barista role at Aramark, designed for individuals looking to thrive in a fast-paced, social, and dynamic environment. The Barista position is the perfect blend of customer service, food and beverage preparation, and operational support. Baristas prepared specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with brand standards while also assisting with food preparation and providing memorable service to each guest. This role is crucial in creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty and satisfaction. The Barista handles cash and credit card transactions using a register or point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy in money handling and balancing the cash drawer at the end of shifts. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation protocols are essential components of the job.

The Barista position requires candidates who have basic math and counting skills, can work independently with limited supervision, and are able to communicate effectively in English. Experience with cash handling and previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to complete Food Handling Certification as required. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking during shifts. The role promotes teamwork and requires adherence to company dress codes and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies when necessary.

In this role, employees are scheduled generally between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with weekend availability required.
