One of Pyramid Global’s flagship properties is the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center located in College Station, Texas. This property, which is managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, combines Aggieland spirit with exceptional hospitality known as Howdy Hospitality. Featuring 250 guest rooms, 23 versatile meeting rooms, and 35,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel serves a wide range of guests and hosts numerous events, especially during key Texas A&M University occasions such as football game days, Ring Days, and graduations. The role available at this property is a Barista position that offers competitive pay starting at $9 per hour plus tips, with biweekly pay periods. This part-time or full-time position requires flexibility to work various shifts based on business needs, including weekends and special event days when demand is high. The Barista will be responsible for preparing quality coffee and beverages, handling cash transactions, maintaining inventory levels, engaging warmly with guests, and promoting upselling of beverages in the lobby area. This position provides an opportunity for individuals passionate about the coffee environment to grow their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality setting. Job Requirements

  • Must be TABC and Texas Food Handlers Certified or able to be certified by the start date
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and special event days
  • Must have a passion for coffee and beverage preparation
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to work part-time or full-time hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years barista service experience preferred but not required
  • TABC and Texas Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain by start date
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced setting

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
