The current opportunity is for Baristas/Cashiers at the upcoming Nixtaco, Temple Coffee, and Bawk Restaurant locations opening soon in Sacramento International Airport. Compensation for this role starts at $21 per hour plus tips, providing a competitive wage with added incentive. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience as a barista or cashier in food service
  • Strong customer service and cash-handling skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for entire shift
  • Valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain
  • Must comply with safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience as a barista or cashier in food service
  • Strong customer service and cash-handling skills
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, management, and customers
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of the shift
  • A valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain during training as required by law

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Accurately enter orders and process payment
  • Ensure all orders are delivered to the customer in a timely manner
  • Count in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive customer experience and workplace efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols intended to keep team members and customers safe
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer to management when applicable
  • Properly stock, and maintain station and cleaning duties as assigned by store management
  • Other duties as assigned
