Job Requirements
- minimum of 16 years of age
- flexible availability including weekends and peak periods
- ability to operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- willingness to comply with health and safety standards including food handling certification if required
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 16 years of age for temporary employment
- previous food handling experience preferred
- confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- an outstanding attitude with willingness to learn and capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
Job Duties
- assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience
- take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
- keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
- set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
