Job Requirements
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- able to grasp and reach overhead
- able to lift, move, and carry 50 plus pounds
- able to work 8 or more hours a day on feet
- engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills
- passion for hospitality and customer service
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- preferably one year of barista experience with manual espresso equipment
Job Qualifications
- at least one year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe
- strong communication skills
- passion for and deep knowledge of coffee menu and bakery offerings
- ability to work collaboratively within a team
- commitment to Tatte's core values and mission
- flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, afternoons, and evenings
Job Duties
- provides gracious and high-quality service to guests by welcoming and engaging with them throughout their experience
- has comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products
- prepares and serves or delivers beverages according to Tatte recipes and specifications
- answers guests' questions about offerings
- follows all recipe and presentation standards for beverages
- operates all Barista station equipment according to standards
- keeps the bar including equipment clean and sanitary according to applicable standards and well-stocked with inventory
- delivers beautiful and artistic espresso beverages
- performs other duties as assigned
