The role we are offering is that of a Starbucks Barista, an entry-level position that plays a critical part in delivering excellent customer service and crafting beverages that meet the highest standards. Baristas are the heart of the Starbucks experience, engaging with customers through genuine interactions, remembering preferences, and ensuring every visit is enjoyable. As a Starbucks Barista, you will be responsible for preparing coffee, tea, and food items to standard recipes or customer modifications, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, handling cash transactions, and promoting store policies and standards. Beyond the technical skills of beverage preparation, this role emphasizes connection—delivering friendly service, anticipating customer needs, and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the store.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Engage with and understand customers including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
