Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffee and beverage industry, renowned for its commitment to crafting the world’s finest coffee while fostering meaningful connections with customers. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown from a local Seattle coffee shop to a multinational chain with thousands of stores worldwide. The company believes in creating warm, welcoming spaces where every cup of coffee sparks connection and every customer interaction creates a meaningful moment. Starbucks is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion, growth, and community engagement, making it not just a place to get coffee but a destination that enriches daily life for partners and customers alike.

As a Starbucks partner, you will be part of a fast-paced and vibrant environment where every shift presents an opportunity to brighten someone’s day. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, thrive on teamwork, and take pride in their work. New partners typically start at the entry point of the pay range based on geographic location, with individual compensation decisions tailored to each candidate’s qualifications and experience. Starbucks values its partners' growth journey, providing developmental opportunities and industry-leading benefits that support both personal and professional advancement.

The position involves preparing quality beverages and food products following standard recipes or customized to meet customer preferences. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide excellent service, and contribute to a positive store atmosphere. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. Starbucks is committed to compliance with all applicable laws and offers accommodations to support partners with disabilities.

Partners enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, paid vacation, sick time, and holiday pay. Additionally, Starbucks offers a 401(k) plan with employer match, discounted stock programs, emergency savings incentives, and a robust educational assistance program featuring 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University. Starbucks fosters a supportive environment that encourages personal development, financial well-being, and work-life balance.

Starbucks Coffee Company is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. Starbucks prioritizes reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities and maintains strong commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout its hiring and employment practices.
