Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for its commitment to crafting the world's finest coffee while creating meaningful moments for every customer. Founded in 1971 in Seattle, Starbucks has grown into a leading coffee retailer with thousands of locations worldwide. Starbucks is not just a place to buy coffee but a community hub where people come to connect, relax, and enjoy premium coffee products. The company emphasizes sustainability, ethical sourcing, and a warm, inclusive environment for both customers and employees. With a culture that values personal growth, Starbucks invests heavily in the development of its partners (employees) through comprehensive training, leadership opportunities, and a supportive team atmosphere. Starbucks is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that every partner feels valued and empowered to contribute to the company's mission.

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. As a Starbucks partner, you will be part of a team dedicated to creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where every coffee served is more than just a beverage—it's a moment that brings people together. There is no prior experience required, making this opportunity ideal for newcomers passionate about joining a dynamic workplace. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks values reliability and dedication, seeking partners who maintain punctuality and can adapt to the multifaceted duties required in a busy store.

As a partner, you will learn to prepare quality beverages and food products following Starbucks' high standards, including customizing orders to meet customer preferences. Engaging with customers is a key part of the role, using clear and pleasant communication to understand and fulfill their needs. Your responsibilities will extend beyond serving drinks to include cash handling, store safety, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. Starbucks supports its partners' growth journey by providing industry-leading benefits, such as comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, and paid parental leave. Additionally, partners have access to paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay. Financial well-being is encouraged through a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, stock purchase programs, and educational benefits, including full tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University.

Starbucks strives to provide a workplace that accommodates diverse needs, including reasonable accommodations for disabilities and compliance with all applicable labor laws. New partners typically start at the entry point of the pay range, which varies based on geographic location. Compensation is determined on an individual basis considering experience and role specifics. Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment free from discrimination. Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a global brand that values people, quality, and community, empowering you to make a meaningful impact in each shift and every customer interaction.
