Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized and beloved coffeehouse chain committed to crafting the world's finest coffee, fostering meaningful connections, and creating welcoming spaces in every neighborhood it serves. Known for its quality coffee beverages, exceptional customer service, and inclusive culture, Starbucks continues to inspire millions of customers around the world. Founded over 50 years ago, Starbucks has grown from a local Seattle-based coffee shop into a leading international brand that prioritizes sustainability, community engagement, and partner (employee) growth. The company operates thousands of stores across many countries, providing a dynamic work environment where each partner's contributions make a difference. Starbucks is dedicated to providing a supportive, inclusive workplace that empowers individuals to thrive both personally and professionally.

The role of a Starbucks partner is much more than just preparing coffee; it is about crafting memorable experiences that brighten customers' days. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, relish engaging with diverse people, and take pride in delivering excellent service through attention to detail and genuine care. No previous experience is required, making it accessible for newcomers eager to start a career in the hospitality and service industry. As a Starbucks partner, you will be trained to prepare a variety of beverages and food items according to established standards or customer preferences, manage cash handling responsibly, and maintain the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of the store. This opportunity offers flexible working hours, potentially including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, allowing for a schedule that fits various lifestyles.

Moreover, Starbucks invests deeply in the growth and development of its partners, offering numerous learning opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Partners can access medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic and supplemental life insurance; short-term and long-term disability coverage; and paid parental leave. Additionally, they enjoy paid vacation time, sick leave, and holiday pay for working on recognized holidays. Starbucks supports financial wellbeing through a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching, a discounted stock purchase program, and emergency savings incentives. Education is highly valued, with 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through Arizona State University's online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, alongside student loan management resources and other educational opportunities.

Starbucks prides itself on maintaining a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity, ensuring that all qualified applicants are considered regardless of race, gender identity, disability, or any other protected status. The company also provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities. Becoming a Starbucks partner means joining a community that values each individual, celebrates their unique contributions, and provides a platform for continuous growth and success. If you are passionate about coffee, connection, and customer service, and if you want to be part of a forward-thinking company committed to social responsibility and partner wellbeing, this is the role for you.
