Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for crafting some of the world's finest coffee and creating meaningful experiences for customers in every cup. With thousands of locations worldwide, Starbucks has established itself as a leader in the coffee industry, committed to quality, sustainability, and community involvement. Starbucks offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers can connect and enjoy premium beverages and food products. The company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity and supports the growth and development of its partners (employees).

As a Starbucks partner, you play a crucial role in crafting memorable moments for customers by providing excellent service and creating a friendly, inviting space. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy engaging with people, and take pride in the quality of their work. No prior experience is required, making it an excellent opportunity for those new to the workforce or looking to develop new skills within the coffee and retail industry.

The position offers flexible scheduling options, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays to accommodate various availability needs. Partners are responsible for meeting store operating policies and standards, including preparing quality beverages and food according to established recipes or customized customer preferences. Attention to detail, customer engagement, and teamwork are critical components of the role.

Starbucks is committed to partnering with its employees on their growth journeys by providing development opportunities and industry-leading benefits. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and educational assistance through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, which offers 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program. Additionally, Starbucks provides financial well-being tools, stock options, and retirement plans with employer matching contributions. The company also complies with local and state laws regarding employee leave and accommodations.

Starbucks champions diversity, equality, and inclusion in its hiring practices and workplace culture. The company is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including qualified individuals with criminal histories and those with disabilities, ensuring reasonable accommodations are available when needed. Working as a partner at Starbucks means more than just making coffee; it means contributing to a shared mission of creating moments that matter and fostering connections in the community.

This role is typically hired at the entry point of the pay range based on geographic location, with individual compensation decisions made according to the position and candidate's qualifications. The Starbucks partner experience encourages career advancement in a supportive, dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of the store.
