The Barista’s daily responsibilities include preparing beverages and food items consistently to Starbucks' recipe and presentation standards, following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines meticulously. Job Requirements

18 years of age
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
Must be able to obtain and maintain a health card and any certification or license, as required by law or policy
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to our customers’ needs through clear and pleasant communication
Comply with a dress code that prohibits displaying tattoos, piercings in excess of two per ear, and unnatural hair colors, such as blue or pink
Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for our customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients, or substituted ingredients
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to build relationships
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
