The Barista role at Dark Matter Coffee is a vital part of the company’s retail operations, combining technical expertise in coffee preparation with exceptional customer service and teamwork. This hourly position is tip-eligible, offering a starting pay rate of $16.00 per hour for tipped shifts and $16.60 per hour for untipped training shifts. Baristas at Dark Matter Coffee are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of their work environment, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the company's core values. The position involves some physical demands, including heavy lifting of up to 60 pounds, making physical stamina an important attribute. Baristas engage in ongoing training to master DMC’s espresso bar and brewing techniques alongside POS and cash handling procedures.
