Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe is a dynamic and thriving coffee shop and restaurant located in Leander, Texas. Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe is currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Barista Shift Lead to join their team, either on a full-time or part-time basis. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in leadership positions and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Barista Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth hospitality service within the café. This position offers an attractive earning potential ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, combining base wages and tips, allowing employees to be rewarded for their dedication and hard work.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the supervisor with daily store duties and elevating the overall customer experience. You will serve as a role model to your barista team by organizing and directing workflow to maintain efficiency and quality throughout each shift. When the supervisor is unavailable, you will step up into the team leader position, assuming responsibility for essential management duties. A significant part of your role involves problem-solving, addressing issues proactively, and constantly seeking improvements to hospitality processes to boost customer satisfaction.

Perky Beans values versatility and encourages cross-training, so you will have the opportunity to learn and master new recipes and food preparation techniques. The café operates with a flexible schedule, and your availability during some opening, closing, and weekend shifts will be essential to ensure consistent service excellence and operational efficiency. Drive-thru experience is considered a plus but not mandatory.

  • 18+ years old
  • minimum 6 months leadership experience in high-volume coffee or food service
  • willingness to be trained in food preparation
