The barista position at Joffrey’s Coffee is a critical role responsible for providing outstanding guest service by preparing and serving food and beverages to customers at a level that guarantees satisfaction and fosters loyalty. Holding barista certification and passing a barista test every six months are essential to ensure ongoing proficiency and up-to-date expertise. As part of their role, baristas must also be capable of handling and responsibly serving alcoholic beverages to guests aged 21 and older, following strict verification procedures.

Physically, the job demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform various tasks involving bending, climbing, pushing or pulling equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working varied hours, including shifts that may be outdoors or require movement throughout kiosks and theme park areas. Additionally, baristas need to maintain the “Disney Look” dress and grooming standards as part of their professional appearance.
