Job Requirements

  • barista experience is a plus
  • availability for seasonal breakfast and lunch shifts
  • ability to follow HACCP food safety standards
  • able to interact courteously with customers and coworkers
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • ability to handle cash and POS devices
  • must be able to work on varied schedules
  • team player mindset

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous barista or coffee preparation experience is a plus
  • knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Job Duties

  • prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device and accept cash and charge payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
