Job Requirements
- barista experience is a plus
- availability for seasonal breakfast and lunch shifts
- ability to follow HACCP food safety standards
- able to interact courteously with customers and coworkers
- capable of maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area
- ability to handle cash and POS devices
- must be able to work on varied schedules
- team player mindset
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous barista or coffee preparation experience is a plus
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- basic math and cash handling skills
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Duties
- prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enter orders accurately into POS device and accept cash and charge payments
- replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
- serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
