Job Requirements

  • Existing Food Handler's Certification or will obtain within 30 days post-hire
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform precision hand movements
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach as needed
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to smell and taste for quality control
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, vendors, and suppliers
  • Make and serve a variety of beverages using diverse brewing and preparation methods
  • Prepare and serve delicious food items
  • Stay knowledgeable about current beverage and food offerings and participate in continuous training and tastings
  • Taste beverages regularly to ensure quality and uphold standards
  • Create community by sharing coffee knowledge and inspiring teammates
  • Support café operations through cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the space
  • Uphold health, food safety, and safety guidelines
  • Promote a safe and respectful working environment
  • Complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day validation post-hire
