Job Requirements
- Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
- NYC Food Handler’s Certification
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25 lbs
- Passion for coffee
- Outgoing and energetic disposition
- Polished and stylish presence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with various POS systems is preferred
Job Qualifications
- Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
- Possesses NYC Food Handler’s Certification
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Basic math skills

Job Duties
- Greets customers and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customers’ requests
- Serves prepared foods and pastries
- Delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team
- Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Communicates effectively with store manager regarding store, employee, and customer needs
- Communicates customer feedback to managers and recommends new menu items
- Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager
