Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must have several years of experience as a barista or similar role
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- strong communication skills
- passion for coffee and hospitality
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- positive attitude and professionalism
- availability to work under Ralph Lauren Corporation policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
- ability to stand for long periods of time and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs
- passion for coffee
- passion for hospitality and guest service
- outgoing and energetic disposition
- polished and stylish presence
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with various POS systems preferred
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take orders
- process cash and credit card transactions
- prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customers' requests
- serve prepared foods and pastries
- deliver customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency
- multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team
- maintain appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
- keep equipment operating by following operating instructions
- maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- communicate effectively with store manager regarding store, employee and customer needs
- communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
- maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
