The role available is that of a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate, a dynamic position within Eataly’s vibrant food marketplace environment. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $18.70 per hour plus tips and reports directly to the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Managers. The QSR Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service across various quick service counters that feature gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis, and other beloved Italian treats. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about food service and guest interaction, where attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are paramount. Responsibilities include serving guests, completing food preparation tasks efficiently and neatly, setting up and replenishing stations with a special focus on allergen separation, and ensuring all food safety protocols such as First in First Out (FIFO) inventory practices are strictly adhered to. Additionally, the role requires preparing packaging and labeling of products, handling cash register operations with accuracy, and maintaining high standards of sanitation, health, and safety. Beyond these daily tasks, the Sales Associate is expected to operate various equipment including manual espresso machines, drink blenders, and juicers, and to be physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, bending, and squatting throughout long shifts.
