Job Requirements
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- willingness to work collaboratively across multiple store locations if needed
- comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
- ability to use various technologies including registers and tablets
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- positive and team-oriented attitude
- aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
- knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene practices
- ability to maintain quality and presentation standards
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and helpfully
- answer questions and connect readers with the right beverages and café items
- maintain the attractive presentation and cleanliness of the café
- unpack and stock deliveries efficiently
- manage registers quickly and professionally
- prepare food and drinks accurately using recipes and product knowledge
- support the bookfloor team and store operations as needed
- follow FIFO practices and safety procedures
- identify and address loss prevention issues
