Job Requirements
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- be flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- perform physical activities including prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- demonstrate positive and supportive behavior toward team members
- follow company policies and procedures
- exhibit enthusiasm for the barista role
- comply with loss prevention and de-escalation procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a customer service or food service role is beneficial
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems and technology comfortably
- strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- aptitude for learning new skills and product knowledge
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- understanding of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with beverage and cafe item selection
- operate registers quickly and professionally
- maintain cafe cleanliness including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- stock and organize deliveries accurately using FIFO practices
- prepare food and drinks properly using recipe guides and product knowledge
- maintain visual merchandising standards on the cafe counter and retail fixtures
- support bookfloor team and store operations when needed
