Job Requirements
- maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- flexibility to fill scheduling gaps including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, bending, lifting and walking
- willingness to work in other stores within the cluster if needed
- comply with all company policies and procedures
- demonstrate supportive and considerate behavior towards colleagues
- consistently provide cheerful and helpful customer service
- show willingness to learn new skills and adapt to role
- enjoy being a barista and contributing to team success
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service or barista experience advantageous but not required
- ability to work well in a team environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- aptitude for learning new technology and processes
- positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and operational standards
Job Duties
- welcome customers cheerfully and answer questions
- maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the café
- prepare food and beverages accurately following recipes and guidelines
- operate registers quickly and professionally
- unpack and stock deliveries efficiently
- support bookfloor team when needed
- understand and apply loss prevention procedures and de-escalation techniques
