Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or cafe environment is an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently with various technology including registers and tablets
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with questions about beverages and cafe items
- Maintain an attractive cafe presentation and clean dining area
- Unpack and stock deliveries efficiently
- Operate registers accurately and provide professional customer service
- Prepare food and drinks following recipe guides and standards
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks to maintain cafe cleanliness
- Support the bookfloor team as needed and assist with loss prevention procedures
